Release time: 2022-01-14 15:34:10  Hits: 31

Usually used for jet engine castings, high-speed body castings, land-based gas turbine castings, oilfield castings, rocket engine castings, spacecraft, nuclear reactor parts castings, pumps and low-temperature application castings. Inconel 718 is a precipitation hardenable nickel-chromium alloy that contains relatively large amounts of iron, niobium and molybdenum, and relatively small amounts of aluminum and titanium. Inconel 718 castings have excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. Inconel 718 castings are easy to weld and are resistant to cracking after welding. The alloy has excellent creep rupture strength at temperatures up to 1300°F (700°C). Inconel 718 is also known as UNS 07718, UNS N07718, Udimet 718, Allvac 718, Pyromet alloy 718 and Haynes alloy 718.

Advantages of nickel-based precision castings

The use of nickel-based alloys for investment casting has the following advantages:

1.Durability: Nickel-based materials are very durable and have the ability to provide the highest performance.

2. Strong chemical composition: The special composition of these alloys enables them to withstand harsh and extremely hot working conditions.

3.Corrosion resistance: Nickel-based castings have excellent corrosion resistance, so they are very popular in corrosion applications.
